Tourist Visa is a generally a visa for a citizen of foreign countries who wish to enter in Senegal. Hence, 2013/2014 Senegal issued a Tourist Visa which you was able to pay online and they issue the visa at Senegal's Leopold Airport.  As of today, I learned a visa is no longer required, see travel alert below: ATTENTION: As of April 3, 2015, the State of Senegal has decided to abolish the visa paying on the national territory as of May 1, 2015. The following information should therefore be disregarded until clarification   The implementing rules. https://www.aeroport-dakar.com This is great news for this mom of four because it means this money can be used towards other things, like sightseeing 🗿.  So if you planning your trip to Senegal tick this off your list, a visa is not required anymore for US citizens 🇺🇲. What is thiouraye? This is a very rare perfume Africa (thiouraye), it is an ancient recipe. It consists of a mixture of grasses, wood, flowers, resins, oils and perfumes.  Most perfume shops in Senegal have different mixtures for sale. Did you know thiouraye has several uses? There is thiouraye for neutralizing food smells, thiouraye for chasing away a mosquito, some are good for the stairwell and living room, another kind is meant for the bedroom 😉.

Where do I begin... Life has a funny way of waking you up.  The kids and I moved to Senegal and came back July 2014.  And my husband and I have will have a bebe girl due 2/5/2015 WOW... LIFE!  It gave me a burst of energy that surge thru me and energized me in many ways.  But I decided to embark on a special journey which I think I was unaware of which is called LIFE.  Have you heard of it?
