Week 8 & 5k Turkey Trot 2011

Week 7 ck-in             334.1 Week 8 ck-in             332.0 Total loss in 7 days:     2.1 Clothes size                  24 1st goal: Clothes size  22 Weight          299 (est. date end of December) I have completed my first 5K I am so excited.  This was a life changing event for me.  I cried, I overcame emotional and physical challenges.  I had many challenges this week because of Thanksgiving and I still lost weight this week.  I am still far from my goal to weight under 299 by New Years but I going to work my hardest to do so.  I have decided to do another 5K in February and one in March with my friends in NY.   I have concord the fear of the, "I can't!", "I feel defeated!", "People are staring."!!!!  I had so many emotions running through my head.   Well I found a great machine that I need to master which is the ego-StairMaster treadmill such a neat machine but it hurts so bad LOL  I am only able to do 10 minutes but I am hoping to do 15 min

Week 7 - Weigh in day changed

Week 6 ck-in             335.3 Week 7 ck-in             334.1 Total loss in 7 days:     1.2 Clothes size                  24 1st goal: Clothes size  22 Weight          299 (est. date end of December) I changed my weigh-in date to Sunday because Wednesday mornings are very hectic for me and the kids.  Sunday's are more leisure and less rushed.  I have been reading various peoples blogs on how to lose weight and how they did it.  I am so inspired and motivated then ever.  Also big news I will be picking up my bib for the the 5k Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving.  I am super excited. Well until next weigh-in, Cheerio peoples!!!!!

Week 6 - The scaled loved me today!!!!

Week 5 ck-in             338.6 Week 6 ck-in             335.3 Total loss in 7 days:     3.3 Clothes size                  24 1st goal: Clothes size  22 Weight          299 (est. date end of December) What do I say???? I was getting a little frustrated at my weight and then I received a reprieve.  I started doing the elliptical and treadmill intervals.  I am just focusing on cardio.  When I get to 299 I will focus on the weight training.  I am well on my way to 299 it seems like a large leap of a faith but I will accur. Week 5: Journey to somewhere!!!!

Week 4 ck-in             339.9 Week 5 ck-in             338.6 Total loss in 7 days:     1.3 Clothes size                  26 1st goal: Clothes size  22 Weight          299 (est. date end of December) Just trucking along and working hard to get my weight in control.  I still have a goals and trying to stick to them!  I change my eating habits drastically and I do not purchase processed food for me or the kids.  I work out 6 days a week and loving it.   My clothes still feel a little snug but my favorite pants are sagging and I need to sew them back to life lol.  I get a lot of people who are negative forces but they are just miserable in their own life and can't stand someone is doing something with their life. Weight Lost Goals

Participate in a 5k before 2012 Turkey Trot 2011 11/24/11 Weight under 300 by 2012 Jog/Run 3.15 miles non-stop Do 50 burpee's play one full set of tennis Weight under 250 by May 2012 Jog/Run 10k by end of 2012 Learn to sew get a tattoo  Hike the great wall of china do 10 small hikes before the great wall of china swim 10 laps in a pool I guess I will add as time goes on but I need to accomplish a lot.  I have been trapped by my size to0 long and it is time to release the inner "FIT" me.   

Week #4: Big Lose

Week 3 ck-in             346.6 Week 4 ck-in             339.9 Total loss in 7 days:     6.7 Clothes size                  26 1st goal: Clothes size  22 Weight          299 (est. date end of December) I am so happy to have a big number this week I was a little worried about my weight loss.  I continued with the calorie counting and now I exercise in the morning at lunch and at night.  In total I do about 2 hours of exercise.  I will take a picture at the end of the month for in changes in my body.  I have found a love for curry spices and maintain a steady love for the dishes it produce.  LOL I have been jogging and I LOVE IT!!!!! I want to increase my distance and speed so it will take some time.  I had a gorgeous view when I was jogging this morning. Bridge along my jog with the fog
